The Lucent Foundation, Inc. was created with two main purposes. First, it helps small non-profit organizations and
groups fund their organizations and projects. The Lucent Foundation, Inc. raises funds through multiple programs that
allow it to provide this much needed support to local groups that may not otherwise have access to funds. Second, it is
providing students an opportunity to succeed via scholarships. The Lucent Foundation, Inc. believes that scholarships
should be based on 2 very distinct criteria: Qualifications and Need.
The Lucent Foundation, Inc. currently has 2 projects raising funds for these purposes. They can be found on the Projects
page linked at the top. The importance of these projects is that they help so many groups and individuals. We ask groups
to submit grant request proposals throughout the year. We respond to all proposals, and fund groups and projects across
the country. Our scholarships will have applications made available in the near future.
The Lucent Foundation, Inc. is a wholly owned non-profit organization of Lucent Concepts, Inc. It has applied for
501(c)3 status, and that status is currently pending. For more information on the status or Lucent Concepts, Inc., please
